Full truckload transportation
Full Truck Load (FTL) shipping is typically shipping cargo that takes up the entire cargo space of a vehicle and is sent to a single recipient. Our experts offer optimal door-to-door FTL solutions tailored to your individual needs.
International delivery of consolidated cargo
Less than truckload (LTL) is the product of different customers transported by one vehicle. To understand the features of LTL shipping, it should be compared with FTL. In the case of full truckload (FTL), one shipper uses an entire vehicle to deliver the product and pays for the entire vehicle. Consolidated shipments assume that the cargo compartment contains several products from different customers, each of which pays for space for their products. This type of transportation is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses whose supply volume is limited compared to large companies or in conditions of a small budget. The duration of delivery times depends on the distance of the destination and the selected type of transport.
Cargo requiring temperature control
When transporting by refrigerated vehicle, maintaining the temperature regime during transportation most often comes down to maintaining a low temperature. This is especially important in the hot season, when the ambient temperature is quite high and can make the transported products unusable. However, there are also goods that cannot tolerate very low or even negative temperatures, such as live plants or some food products that need to be delivered fresh, but not frozen. Here, maintaining the temperature regime will also be important, but only above 0 °C. Among the goods that require maintaining a certain temperature regime, there are refrigerated and isothermal ones. The former require mandatory maintenance of a specific temperature throughout the entire journey, such as fresh meat or dairy products. The latter allow some change in temperature and humidity. The suitability of products for transportation in this way also depends on the time of year. The main category of goods that require maintaining a certain temperature and humidity are food products, especially perishable ones. The latter include meat and dairy products and many finished food products. Frozen products should be transported at low temperatures to avoid deterioration of their quality due to defrosting. Fresh fruits and vegetables are also perishable products, due to the fact that in hot weather or frost they quickly lose their properties and marketable appearance.
Transportation of liquid cargo
International transportation of bulk cargo has its own characteristics and specifics, which are related to the nature of the cargo itself and the requirements for its transportation. For bulk cargo, various types of containers are used, including tanks, cisterns. They are designed taking into account the characteristics of the cargo, such as viscosity and chemical activity.
Transportation of dangerous goods ADR
Dangerous goods are substances, materials and products, the transportation of which may pose a risk of harm to the health of people, animals, the state of the environment, the safety of equipment, buildings and structures, and other material objects. Dangerous goods are classified by the nature and degree of danger and are prescribed in the ADR and GOST rules. The conditions for the transportation of dangerous goods depend on the class and name of the goods. The degree of danger of goods is determined on the basis of their physical and chemical properties, the degree and type of danger during transportation. These can be acids, paints, fuel, pesticides, solvents, medical products, aerosols, etc. In total, the UN list of hazardous substances contains about 3,500 items.
Oversized cargo
Oversized cargo is industrial equipment, building structures, agricultural and road construction equipment, drilling rigs, all kinds of containers, production parts, pipes, etc., that is, everything that is not included in the scope of ordinary cargo. If the length, width, height and total weight of the cargo exceeds the parameters of standard transport established by law (L> 20 m., W> 2.55 m., H> 4 m., M> 38 t.), it moves to the class of oversized, long or heavy - depending on the exceeding indicators. It follows from this that these large-sized cargoes can be transported only by special equipment under certain conditions. Therefore, the transportation of oversized cargo is a complex process that includes a set of specific works and paperwork. There are a number of requirements for equipment, technical condition of vehicles and cargo designation.
